Gracie De-escalation Pin
Most police officers in America get an average of 2 hours of empty-hand defensive tactics training per year. In August of 2023, the El Segundo Police Department partnered with Gracie University to permit all of their sworn officers to attend classes at Gracie University Headquarters. In recognition, the officers receive a Gracie De-escalation Pin for their commitment to de-escalation. Recognize an officer at your gym with the Gracie De-escalation Pin!
Note: No Official PD Partnership is required to award pins. Just follow the training hour guidelines found below. If you have a relationship with your local police agency, this is a great way to encourage them to wear it while on duty. Please ensure you do not use these pins as giveaways or sell to students. These pins have a special meaning, and we are committed to preserving their significance.
